Textile works of art shown in this website have been made by hand by Olga Meryet using four techniques: Embroidery, taaniko, Peruvian knot and free weaving without loom. 

Olga Meryet is a Spanish artisan from Madrid and has majored  in Ancient and Medieval History by the University Autónoma of Madrid (Spain). Her textile training includes, embroidery, high loom, taaniko, sprang, Peruvian knot and felting.

She has exhibited her works in several cultural centres and handicraft galleries. Her tapestries have also been shown in the movie "El patio de mi casa," produced by El Deseo (Pedro Almodovar´s studio) and Warner Bross.
